FAQ

Q: What are school hours?
A:
Elementary starts at 8:30 a.m. and dismisses at 3:00 p.m. Middle and High School begins at 8:06 a.m. and dismisses at 2:45 p.m.  School Offices are open until 4:00 p.m.

Q: How early can students be dropped off on campus?
A: Elementary students are not to be dropped off at school prior to 8:15 a:m as we do not have anyone on duty until 8:15 a.m. If they are dropped off before then, we will send them to Extended Care where you will be charged on your tuition bill.

Q: Is there childcare available for "no school" days?
A: We have an Extended Care program for K - 6th grades which you need to sign up for, prior to using. It is charged by the hour and does have a materials fee if used frequently. Extended Care can be used for before and after school care, as well as on "no school" days. Please see the office for the registration form and the current fees.

Q: Is there a dress code or are uniforms required?
A: We currently do not require uniforms, however, there is a dress code that everyone should adhere to. Please see the handbook for details on the dress code. Any student not in dress code will be cited with a green slip and in some cases, required to call home for a change in clothing.

Q: What if my child needs to take medication during the school day?
A: The State of Washington requires parental signature in order to dispense ANY and ALL forms of medication, including but not limited to cough drops, ibuprofen, allergy medication, inhalers, and epi-pens. If you have a student that requires medication, we have to have a completed and signed “Authorization for Administration of Oral Medication” form on file here in the office along with the medication in the original container.

  • Over-the-counter drugs require a parental signature
  • Prescription Medication requires parental signature AND a doctor’s signature
